The process of coordinating multiple agents, tools, or services so that their outputs combine into a coherent result. An orchestrator decides which agent handles which subtask, in what order, and how to route information between them. The orchestrator can itself be an LLM reasoning through a plan, a deterministic workflow engine, or a hybrid of both.
